High Wire Networks announced the hiring of Steve Meyers, effective immediately, who will assume duties of Director of Field Excellence– overseeing a robust team of 3,000 U.S. and approximately 10,000 international technicians and engineers.

Meyers will report directly to Alan Burkhard, Vice President of Operations. Together, their strong track records will bring innovation, efficiency and reliability to the fast-growing Company, servicing resellers, distributors, systems integrators, telecoms, manufacturers and managed service providers.

“We firmly believe in putting the best players in the field and developing our workforce,” said Mark Porter, President and CEO of High Wire. “Meyers will focus on finding innovative ways to drive engagement, quality control, predictability, and safety to the field, which will fuel the best outcomes for our global client base.”

Meyers added, “I am excited to join a team of likeminded [people], who are fast, energetic and creative.”

Meyers has worked in field operations for more than 30 years, most recently as an executive at Vivint Smart Home and previously at The Nielsen Company.

In addition to problem solving and implementing processes for large teams in his profession, Meyers has taken on similar responsibilities in his personal life, as a father and grandfather. He has five adult children and 11 grandchildren. He and his wife, Lori, have been married 36 years. They live in Algonquin, a northwest suburb of Chicago. He is a lifelong Cubs fan.
