To Our Valued Partners,
All of us here at High Wire Networks understand we are a component of your supply chain in some way, and we appreciate that you allow us to be part of your ecosystem. With that comes a duty to keep you informed of what we are doing as we all face the coronavirus issue together. I wanted to personally assure you that the entire High Wire management team is proactively working to make sure we can continue to support your organization to the fullest of abilities. We are focusing on the things we can control, and communicating constantly to make sure the variables we cannot control are at least visible to all of us as we look for solutions.
Below are a few key points that you should know about the preparedness of our organization, and how we are ensuring continuity in our joint operations:
- We have a formal BCDR plan and test it regularly. We have not enacted the plan at this point, but we are prepared should we feel it is imperative.
- 100% of our critical systems can be accessed remotely and do not require employees to be in a physical office. Secure access is critical to what we do, and all systems have the correct level of safeguards for remote access from anywhere an employee has Internet access.
- We have placed travel restrictions for any travel that is not critical, and we have advised team members that if they are asked to travel but do not feel safe doing so, that they will not be forced to do so.
- We continue to monitor the situation and update our policies as needed.
At this point we have had no disruptions in service, and do not foresee any disruptions other than those placed by customers changing course. We have been a key component to recovery through disruptions like Katrina, Irma, Sandy, and other natural disasters, and we will work to be ready throughout the duration of this event as well. It is the very nature of our business to be available for your requests. We do ask in return your understanding if you request on-site presence in high risk areas, we will weigh those requests with the safety of our workforce.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me directly, or our Chief Operating Officer, Charles Hughes.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to the end of the uncertainty of this pandemic.
