High Wire Networks can design, install, configure and support wireless networks for your customers. We recommend a site survey first. Our surveys will give insight into the unique benefits and challenges the location presents prior to making recommendations for equipment and installation. A site survey will help determine the exact number and placement of APs to provide ideal signal coverage, throughput and performance in your customer’s office, warehouse or campus.
Our predictive survey leverages state of the art software simulation tools, your floor plan and environmental inputs to create a design that maps out optimal placement for your wireless access points. The survey details the types of cabling required, the antennas needed, and a basic installation plan.
Our passive survey is for customers who have existing Wi-Fi but need to troubleshoot and/or validate existing coverage. High Wire engineers will go on-site and listen to the wireless local area network (WLAN) using Ekahau or Air Magnet software. The goal is to find the active access points, measure signal strength and search for any channel interferences or dead zones.
Our active survey works in conjunction with the results of a predictive survey. High Wire takes the virtual plan as a guide and validates the design on-site. Our engineers walk-test your WLAN. They use specialized tools and specific, required access points to determine if they should keep, add, move or delete any APs. Active surveys give us the ability to identify points of interference and give you the confidence that your design is rock-solid.
Our senior engineers and solutions architects have extensive years of experience. We utilize industry-leading applications, AirMagnet and Ekahau diagnostic tools, to accommodate specific customer software requirements. High Wire is technology agnostic but we have experience with CISCO, Aruba, Meraki, Aerohive and Ruckus.
“High Wire was able to come in and not only provide a comprehensive wireless survey for my healthcare client, but sit down with them afterwards and add value by thoroughly explaining the findings and making recommendations in conjunction with their business requirements. As a team, we were able to help them feel comfortable with a complex, multi-location wireless network deployment and optimization.”
